BR 2-02: The Little Red Hen

I chose this book because I love chicken. Of course, I love eating, watching and drawing chicken.

First, I thought this express independence. This red hen do by himself everything in book. Main is chicken. His or her friends are a mouse, duck and cat. They are good friends but they don't help red hen. He or she brings up wheat from seed only one. Finally, he made breads. His friends want to eat it but he don't take it. 

I surprised that this book is written how to cook breads. I discovered a picture book that is written how to cook in my first time.
